Schedule of Various Training Opportunities:
 Cycling:

Sunday 7:00 am Lowdermilk Park exit side parking lot. This is a two-part ride starting at Naples Beach Club.  The 7:00 group rides for an hour through Port Royal, then meets back at the Park's exit side on Gulf Shore Blvd at 8:00 to join other riders to finish 40 to 50 miles (average speed 20 mph).

Tuesday through Sunday 7:00 am at The Bicycle Shoppe of Naples, 8789 Tamiami Trail, Market Place at Pelican Bay (24 mph or faster).  Tuesday to Friday route is 25 miles through Pine Ridge and Pelican Bay.  Saturday is to the end of Gordon drive and back.  Sunday ride is 50 to 60 miles through Naples and Golden Gate.  (Market Place in Pelican Bay is at Vanderbilt Beach Rd & US 41)

Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 7:05 am at The Bicycle Shoppe of Naples, 8789 Tamiami Trail, Market Place at Pelican Bay (20-22 mph).  Tuesday and Thursday rides consist of 4 laps down Pine Ridge (25 miles).  Saturday's ride goes from Pelican Bay to the end of Gordon Drive and back (25 miles).  These rides start 5 minutes after the fast group departs.  Contact Jim Pelton at 649-4035 or email for more information.

Wednesday 6:00 pm during Daylight Savings Time - Kings Lake Time Trial.  Kings Lake is located off Davis Blvd between Airport Pulling road and Santa Barbara Blvd.    It has a 2.5 mile loop just inside the entrance.  We generally do 20 miles (8 laps) but in threat of rain it can always be shortened.    We occasionally change it to 25 or 15 miles with group consensus.  Parking is best at the east end of the Publix center parking lot next to Kings Lake. Begin arriving at 5:30 pm for warm up lap(s). From the parking lot, exit via the road in the SE corner which will take you directly to the loop (40 yards). The Stop sign at this entrance to the loop is the official starting point and we aim to begin promptly at 6:00pm. We will quickly line up, slower to faster. Each rider is responsible for his or her own time and will report at the end. Once we begin, each rider will leave at 30 second intervals. Time Trial rules apply - it is an individual event.   NO DRAFTING.  There is a bar in the shopping center for those that may need beverages following the ride.  Come out when you can.    It is a great way to gauge your riding level and improvement over the summer.  Contact Michael Dill at  239-304-1000, ext 2212 or  email if any questions
