Yoga was developed thousands of years ago in the East and today is practiced by millions world wide.   The increasing popularity of yoga in the Western culture is primarily due to interest in Hatha Yoga, one of the branches of yoga.

Hatha Yoga is a series of slow, graceful, focused movements that work all the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints.  The practice of Hatha Yoga improves and maintains flexibility, balance and muscle tone.  It is a way of becoming, and staying, fit.

Hatha Yoga requires no specific equipment, no special physical skills.  It is non-competitive with every stretch and every posture done according to each person's own ability

This site is dedicated to the practice of
Hatha Yoga.
